The BGAMUG Computer Club meeting yesterday went great!

About Last Night's Meeting of the BGAMUG Computer Club

Jerry G. shared lots of tips last night about lots of subjects at our June 2011 meeting. I took a lot of notes too.

Jerry shared about how to print out items larger than regular size, free education on the internet, other selling sites besides Ebay, how to put pictures on a computer, what to do when your computer freezes, scanning documents with an OCR program, resizing photos, free education sites, how to save money using online sites, how to streamline your startup information for Windows, and a few SEO tips.

Members shared their liking for Expedia, Priceline, Southwest.com, Travelocity, SoKyShop, the Bowling Green Craiglist site (because you can actually meet a seller) and Hotel.com. Jerry suggests playing with these to see what happens.

Other good advice: use your security programs!

Here are some free education site links from last night's presentation:

This is just PART of what Jerry talked about. Come to our next meeting as our guest (it's free)  to find out even more.

BGAMUG - The Bowling Green Area Microcomputer User's Group is the Bowling Green Computer Club

Hi all! And welcome to the BGAMUG Computer Club Blog.

I am making a quick posting today to catch everyone up on events and upcoming meetings of the BGAMUG Computer Club here in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

We welcome new members and visitors to our next meeting, which is June 28th at 6:30. We meet at Bowling Green Technical College, which is located at 1845 Loop Street, Building F.

The BGAMUG Computer Club is based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and has members from all over.

The club has informative talks, plans fun events, and has door prizes at the meeting too. (That is one of my favorite parts of the meeting!)

I have learned a lot by being in the BGAMUG Computer Club. I have also made some great friends there. The BGAMUG club is open to computer users of all ages.

BGAMUG also helps needy people obtain computers and help with other computer-related service projects.

Do you want to learn more about your computer or how to run programs, and keep up to date? You can be a computer beginner or an expert, it doesn't matter. Join us! We would love to have you in our group.
