Shout out to some good cooks at the BGAMUG Picnic.

The BGAMUG Picnic was really nice.

The food was great as usual. I have to give a shout out to the Peach dessert, also the Chess Pie, and the BBQ sauce was good too. Something with a crunchy crust (potatoes?) were really good too. Everything was good. There was plenty of room to sit.

We met at Covington Woods Park. The golfers were out in force. We barely got a parking space, but we were lucky and got one.

Jerry told us one of our original people the club donated a computer to has passed away. Everyone except some people who had to leave early played some Bingo after the meal.

People brought electric fans and that helped a lot, because it was HOT on Saturday.

Anyone have some photos? I'd love to see them. I got to talk with a few people, that was fun too.

The BGAMUG Computer Club Christmas Party was fun! The cruise and more.

I had a really good time.

The present Gift Exchange went well, I thought, we had plenty of presents. I hope we get to do that next year too. We'll see. I may bring more next year, so everyone gets two presents. (IF we do it again).

The centerpieces had BLINKING lights! And the food was really good.

I left early (my apologies) because of the weather and etc. and got to take home a 3-selection Power Strip package as my prize.

Some group members are going on an APCUG Cruise soon! I can't wait to hear about it.

Download our latest newsletter on this page.

An FYI: We do NOT have a meeting in December.

Our next meeting is our January meeting which is on Tuesday, January 28th.

Later, and have a WONDERFUL holiday!

There will be helpful signs and also parking assistance available that day.

Bring a guest! This month's presentation will be about "Keyboarding 1001" by Jerry Gillette. Here is his description:

"During this month’s presentation, we will cover all the keys on the keyboard, even the mysterious ones you have never used. In addition we will cover some speedy and more productive time saving tasks you can accomplish in document creation and navigating the PC screen by using the keyboard more and the mouse less.
To top things off I’ll show you how to insert characters into your emails and documents that
do not appear on the keyboard, like; ¢ ™ ® ° © » ± ……"

So be there or be be unaware! Guests are most welcome.

The picnic was fun! I loved the homemade food. Our next meeting... more.

Well, our host and hostesses at Diamond W Farms (Gary and Karen Wickliff) certainly outdid themselves for the BGAMUG picnic.

I want to thank them for their terrific hospitality. It was fun to see everyone. We have some pictures to share later on too.

Also, I got to see a beautiful horse, and a redecorated hanger area there.

Our next meeting is on Tuesday, August 27th. A Genealogy Special Interest Group will meet at 5:45.

The meeting may be in Building H, Room 133.
Or the meeting may be in the older location. (Building F).

Here is the map to the H building: (Thanks for this, Jerry.)

It also shows the other buildings.

Guests are always welcome at BGAMUG meetings.

See you there!
